Don't disassemble- use Eco-Cleaner!

Use it as a cold soak, by mixing and pouring into the reservoir/generator and soaking overnight. Just drain, rinse, and refill with fresh water and activator (electrolyte). Or do a more thorough hot soak by mixing and turning on the generator - run it for 5-10 minutes. The water will turn black as it cleans, so you need to rinse 3 or 4 times with clean tap water.

Every generator needs a Spring Cleaning from time to time - this makes it as easy as you can get. Add a Drain Kit to make it even simpler. Don't forget to use fresh Activator when you refill your system. 

These 16 ounce (450 grams) bottles make up to 2 gallons of cleaner; enough for several cleanings!
