HOW DOES YOUR TUNER WORK? I don't understand how that affects the fuel?

I recently had someone email me that had purchased our 8 day course (we sell as an illustrated booklet for those that are in a hurry to make a decision).

He asked this question: "How does your system "tune"? I plan on purchasing your kit with tuner, but don't understand what I am tuning."

That's a great question.  I figured others might have the same one, so this is how I answered it:

The “tuners” we provide, don't directly affect the flow of fuel, we rely on the massive work of the engineers who programmed the engines with specific fuel maps, based on the engines needs, to do that.

All engines with computers (ECM's) use sensors to gather data and send that to the ECM. The ECM then chooses the proper fuel map, based on that information, which is constantly changing. Most "TUNERS" try to inject their own programs to help the engine get more horsepower or economy, but many times the ECM will override their attempts (especially when it comes to gas savings!)

So our tuners bypass the programming entirely, and "hijack" the signal before it gets to the ECM. We actually route the signals coming from the O2 sensors and MAF/MAP sensors, before they reach the car computer (ECM). While it seems “that is not enough”, the sensors are quite sensitive to changes internally in the engine, and just a few millivolts of change affects WHICH fuel map the ECM decides to use, which determines how much fuel to inject. In other words, we are not trying to work against the engineering software of the car, we are simply changing the inputs that determine how much fuel is used. We can adjust the MAF (in most cars) to actually cause the engine to stumble because the fuel is leaned out by the ECM, based on those signals. So while we are only adjusting or tuning the signals by using a voltmeter, we are leveraging the car computer to do the rest of the work.

Does that make sense? Obviously, it is much more complex than that, but essentially, computers are only as smart as the data that is input into them. We make sure they get the right data to lean out the fuel in an unconventional way.

Hope that helps...

How can I save money on my gas bill? The high prices are killing me!

This is probably one of the most asked questions here and around the world right now. People are looking for anyway to cut their gas bill down so they don't have to choose between going to work, or paying their bills. Out here in northern California (east of San Francisco/Bay Area), gas is again over $6.00 a gallon. It costs over $100 for me to fill my Toyota Tundra when it gets below a 1/4 of a tank. I hate it...
That's why I have been working 12 hour days, 6 days a week since April, developing, engineering, prototyping, patenting, and manufacturing a new line of HHO generators. We have crammed a year and a half development into just 6 months, to get an even more efficient, easier to maintain, faster to install hho kit for our customers who desperately need to save money.
Our kits are advertised to save you 20-50%, but in reality, most customers are in the 40-50% range or better. What does 50% increase mean to YOU?
It means that if you normally get 300 miles to a tank of gas, you can now get 450 miles to a tank.
That's as good as or better than a hybrid! And hybrid vehicles cost $8000+ or more above the normal cost of a car. Our kits start at only $600...

Check out the results of some of our customers: HHO kits Mileage results
And, once they are installed, and adjusted, you only have to top off the reservoir from time to time with water (1/2 liter a week or more depending on driving habits).
So after the initial investment into a kit, the only cost you have in going from 300 miles a tank to 450 miles a tank, is a few bucks for distilled water.
That's a win win in my book.
Keep checking back because I will be installing the new H2XTRME into my Toyota Tundra....

Does Your HHO kit just have to be installed, or does the car have to be specially tuned?

Our HHO kits are designed so anyone can install them. You do not have to be a mechanic or electrician either. Our fully illustrated manuals clearly explain the process for everyone and we offer free tech support if you need help.

The HHO kit hardware is straightforward for every car or truck: Install the 3 components (Generator, Reservoir, and filter); connect them with provided hoses and clamps, and connect the wiring (also included). At that point you are ready to fill up and run your kit.

However, If your car has fuel injection (most cars newer than 1999), you need to install a gas or diesel tuner so that the car computer knows to lean out the fuel when HHO gas is being injected. The gas tuner connects to the signal wire of the O2 sensors and MAF. We show you how to easily locate these wires in less than 5 minutes. You simply connect the wires to the tuner and use a voltage meter to adjust the tuner to suggested settings, then take it out to test.

Sometimes a little tweaking is recommended to find optimal settings for your car – which is best found by driving around. The best settings are when your car actually has better acceleration and pick up (no loss of power), and idles quietly and smoothly, and still gets amazing results.

After that, just check your water from time to time, and top off when necessary. You start saving IMMEDIATELY, from day one. Drive it around, test it out, fill up and see the results for yourself. Then just make a tiny adjustment on the tuner and see if it makes it even better. You will soon find the perfect adjustment. This can take a day or so, but once you find the best setting, you’re done and don’t have to touch it again. And if you need to turn off the HHO system for any reason- it automatically reverts to the OEM settings.

How much money can I save with your HHO kit?

The amount of money saved by burning your fuel more efficiently using the on- demand hydrogen-oxygen our kits inject, is determined by a couple of factors:

1) How big is your engine? Let's say you are getting 15 miles per gallon now, You could get 23 mpg with our kit (a 53% increase). I did that with my Chevy Trailblazer. Instead of filling up every 4 days, you could go 6 or 7 days on the same tank. Instead of filling up 7 times a month, now you fill up just 4 times, for example. You could save 3 tanks of gas every month! Smaller engines would do even better.

3 Tanks of gas = 3 x 15 gallons x $5.00 per gallon = $225 SAVED every month.

2) How much do you drive? If you only take the car out on Sunday, and never go anywhere, you should not buy the kit unless you are really concerned about the emissions (see this chart for actual reductions).

If you drive every day to work and back, and use it every day, obviously you are going to have much higher savings!

3) How well do you maintain your car? A tuned up car with clean oil and air filters will always give best results. If your car is belching oil, we can still help clean up the exhaust, but your results may not be as high as a well maintained car.

4) How good of an installation did you do? We give a very detailed installation manual that lays everything out clearly on how to install, set up and run your HHO kit for maximum results. Clean distilled water is a must, and your amps should be at recommended setting. If your car has fuel injection, you must use our gas or diesel tuners and adjust as we instruct for best results.

Once you experience the increased response of your car, the instant acceleration on passing or on the hwy, the clean and quiet running engine, you will never want to turn it off again, and you be smiling every time you pass up the gas station with it's long lines and outrageous prices!

How much water does your HHO kit use?

That's a good question. Normal HHO systems get pretty hot because of the amount of amperage they use trying to produce enough HHO gas to affect their mileage. Most older systems are similar. Once they get hot, some of the product produced is HHO gas, but some is actually steam. Because of that- the water is used up quickly and needs to be refilled every few days.

Part of the reason this happens is that every system out there (except ours), has exposed edges in every plate. If they are a dry cell with compressed neoprene gaskets, they still have holes in every plate to allow the water to pass from one cell to the next. every hole is an exposed edge. We have found that it is the edges of the cut stainless that leach into the water and turn it brown quickly. Or if your system gets over a certain temperature, which then changes the electrolyte chemically and stops production of HHO gas.

But when we engineered our new 800 series from the ground up, we designed it to have no exposed edges internally. There are no holes in the inner plates. Everything is covered, either by plastic retainers or molded plastic. It is what makes our hho generators unique and more advanced than anything available.

We didn't know how well our system would work. We knew what we wanted to achieve, but no one has ever done this at the level we were trying, so it was a crapshoot. Boy were we surprised when we started firing them up in our own test vehicles! First of all, the water stays clean! It doesn't get thick, brown, or murky. Second of all, we found that because of the efficiency, it barely used water at all compared to the old style!

Sometimes just a half liter of water a week is all that is needed! It's crazy to think you can save $50 or more on a tank of gas, using just $1.00 or less of water!!!

I'll be installing in my Toyota Tundra soon and giving some updated videos and mileage results, so stay tuned!

If this HHO kit works, why doesn't the auto industry have them in their cars already?

In the early days of HHO kits and people developing and experimenting with on- demand hydrogen and do-it-yourself hho kits, we did actually have a couple of the big manufacturers express interest (Ford and GM). Ford was in the background watching the developments, GM was interested enough to have one of their plant managers contact me to fly me to their plant and teach them about hho technology. The problem was that it was the GM plant in CHINA. They manufacture the big American cars there and wanted to talk about the possibility of working with them.
Since China has a horrible reputation of stealing new tech (literally within weeks), I told them I wasn't interested.
I think Ford watched everything going on and decided to wait until the tech matured more. Remember, when this trend started back in 2007, there were no advancements- it was virgin ground. It was nothing but garage mechanics and inventors building handmade HHO kits with available parts from Ace Hardware and Home Depot. There were no "experts". Just spotty results and "experts" telling all the blogs that it was fake science and didn't work and that anyone involved was just a scammer.
Even Popular Mechanics jumped on the scam alert bandwagon using their Auto column editor to push the false narrative that HHO gas doesn't improve mileage.
Of course Google search moved this to the top of the search results...
I actually contacted the editor and challenged his test. He used probably the worst handmade HHO kit with close to zero hho gas production to test on his Ford Mustang. No electronic chip to tell the fuel management system to lean out fuel.
SO he got bad results and concluded from that bad test, that he, as the "reigning expert", had determined it was fake. So I challenged him to a test. We were in our third generation HHO generators by then and were getting above average results. I said I was willing to bring our largest system (773), fly out at no charge, install it on his Ford Mustang, at no charge, and give him positive results, all at NO RISK to him. The ONLY requirement I had, was that if I DID get him positive results, he would recant his prior judgement and write a favorable article.

How did he respond? He BLOCKED me from the Popular Mechanics Blog and deleted all my posts and challenges from public blog. And his fake critical assessment became one of the most read and quoted in the anti- HHO gas battle.
More on this in a future post....
